One of 60 Thunderbolts purchased by residents of Scarsdale, NY, during their second War Bond Drive. While operating with 9th Air Force's 406th Fighter Group flying from St Avord in France this P47 was lost on 4th October 1944. Pilot Lt Phillip Antonucci was reported as Missing in Action.
