Johnson executed a beautiful winged nude on both sides of the
aircraft. Following the style and concept of the Vargas flying girl illustration
first seen in "Esquire" magazine and a popular image amongst crews around the
globe. At the time this photo was taken, "Constant Nymph" had completed four
bombing missions and one photo reconnaissance flight. Further details of this aircraft's
crews, mission dates and fate are sought.
