Ray Bowden gained a Design Degree at St Martin's School of Art
in Central London and went on to establish his own design
consultancy in the heart of the capital.
After 35 years, he relocated to Bridport in West Dorset in 1996
to research and publish his books on USAAF nose art during WW2
.
Drawing on his extensive experience in the field of design and the
graphic arts, he has developed this range of images.
Initially, photographs taken along the stunning coastline and hinterland of West Dorset,
one of the designated World Heritage Sites, are the source of inspiration.
Used as a starting point, each photograph is then dramatically enhanced and manipulated to enrich it
into a vibrant, colourful and evocative image.
Each print is individually monitored and controlled
to ensure optimum results with a printing not exceeding 500.
The prints are on Epson Archival Matt paper but,
as with all photographic images, they should not be displayed in direct sunlight
or
immediately over a source of heat as this will reduce their longevity and colour fastness.
Images are supplied signed, numbered and rolled ready
to be mounted and suitable for framing in a 20"x16" frame (glass size). However, a smaller size for mounting into a 14"x11" frame (glass size) is also available by special request.
